Latavius Murray A Touchdown-Dependent Flex
2 years agoDenver Broncos running back Latavius Murray surprisingly took over the backfield in the team's Week 6 loss to the Los Angeles Chargers, carrying the ball 15 times for 66 yards. He took a back seat to Melvin Gordon III in last week's loss to the New York Jets, though, and finished with eight carries for 24 yards and a touchdown while adding two catches for minus-one yard. Mike Boone (ankle) is now on Injured Reserve, so Murray and Gordon should continue to split the backfield in half in the league's lowest-scoring offense. The Jacksonville Jaguars, Murray's Week 8 opponent, have been generous to opposing RBs in 2022, but Murray will most likely have to continue finding the end zone to be a worthwhile RB3/flex for fantasy managers in deeper leagues.
