6 years agoSeattle Mariners third baseman Kyle Seager is slugging .500 over his last 15 games heading into the final few games of the season. Seager has popped a few home runs recently to pad his stats to wrap up a horrible season. The veteran slugger is slashing .199/.260/.358 since the All-Star break with only six home runs over his last 201 at-bats. Another indication Seager's season has gone off the rails is that the third baseman set a career-low in walks (38) while setting a career-high in strikeouts (135). Seager is not worth a play for the final few games and for the season is slashing .224/.271/.401 with 22 home runs, 35 doubles and 77 runs batted in.--Joey C - RotoBaller
