Kyle Harrison to Make Another Start on Friday Against Marlins
Kyle Harrison will make another start in the rotation in Friday's series opener on the road against the Miami Marlins. Harrison opened up the 2025 campaign in the minors before being called up on May 4 and initially working out of the bullpen in San Fran. The injury to right-hander Justin Verlander (pectoral) opened up a rotation spot for the 23-year-old southpaw, though, and he gave up two earned runs while walking none and striking out four in four innings in a loss to the Washington Nationals in his first start last Saturday. In what could be his final start before Verlander returns, Harrison should have a longer leash and will face a Marlins offense that ranks 15th in baseball with a .706 OPS. He should have more fantasy upside for those looking for a streamer on Friday's slate of games.
