Jo Adell Exits Early With Illness; Angels Monitor Slugger's Status
Los Angeles Angels outfielder Jo Adell exited Sunday's game after reportedly feeling nauseous, according to manager Ray Montgomery. He was replaced by Matthew Lugo in the top of the ninth inning and finished 1-for-4 with a strikeout and a two-run home run in the first inning, his 35th of the season. Adell is likely day-to-day as the Angels monitor his availability for Monday's game. The 25-year-old is slashing .243/.303/.507 with an .810 OPS and has clearly unlocked his power stroke, making this his most productive season as a big leaguer.
