Kyle Busch did get into the final round of qualifying on Saturday. The Richard Childress Racing driver ended up ninth at 0.686 seconds behind Denny Hamlin. Also, Busch was one of five Chevy cars to finish in the top ten. The No. 8 car will try and replicate what he managed last year. Busch ran well in the Joe Gibbs Racing setup especially earlier in races. It will be intriguing to see what happens on Sunday at Watkins Glen International. Busch has not led a lap on the 2.454-mile road course since 2018. That along with significant positive place differential feels unlikely on Sunday. --Chris Wassel - RotoBaller
