Kyle Bradish Sharp in Rehab Outing
Kyle Bradish (elbow) made his second rehab start for Double-A Chesapeake on Tuesday and was sharp, allowing one hit and no walks in 3 2/3 shutout innings. He struck out two and threw 38 pitches, 24 of them being strikes. While this was an encouraging outing for the Orioles and Bradish, he is still likely another three or four rehab starts away from rejoining the big-league club, at minimum, putting him on track to return sometime in mid-to-late August. If your team can afford to stash him on the injured list, you should do so. During the 2024 season, he posted an impressive 2.75 ERA, 1.07 WHIP, and a 12.13 K/9 in 39 1/3 innings pitched. While the sample size is small, he had a 2.83 ERA in 2023 in 168 2/3 innings pitched.
