Patriots, Rams Making "Strong Pushes" to Acquire A.J. Brown
The New England Patriots and Los Angeles Rams are "making strong pushes" to land Philadelphia Eagles wide receiver A.J. Brown in a trade, according to Dianna Russini of The Athletic. No deals have been agreed to as negotiations continue, but both teams continue to "show heavy interest." The Pats continue to show interest in Brown despite signing Green Bay Packers wideout Romeo Doubs, while the Rams are still interested despite already sending a first-round pick and other draft capital to the Kansas City Chiefs last week for cornerback Trent McDuffie. The Eagles don't have a ton of incentive to trade Brown, who has four straight 1,000-yard seasons, and they've reportedly been asking for a first-round pick and then some. Eagles GM Howie Roseman "won't part with a great player for nothing." For fantasy purposes, managers with Brown in dynasty/keeper leagues surely hope he isn't dealt to the Rams, where he'd be competing for targets with Puka Nacua and Davante Adams.
