Chip Ganassi Racing driver Kurt Busch ended up finishing in the sixth position in the GEICO 500 at Talladega Superspeedway on Sunday. The elder Busch Brother has posted seven top-10 finishes, and he has been 12th or better in each of his past nine MENCS starts since a disappointing 25th-place showing at the Daytona 500 in his team debut. He improved eight positions after start 14th, although he failed to lead a lap for the seventh consecutive start. He'll try to keep up the strong string of finishes at Dover next Sunday. He has a win, nine top-5 showings and a 17.9 Average-Finish Position with 426 laps led in 37 Cup starts at the Monster Mile.--Daniel Dobish
