2 years agoColorado Rockies third baseman/outfielder Kris Bryant (foot) took batting practice on Monday. Bryant, who has been out since July 31, wants to play again this season. He has been increasing his baseball activities in the last week, but with time running out in the 2022 regular season, it remains to be seen if the 30-year-old will return to Colorado's lineup. Because of how long Bryant has been sidelined, it's likely that he'll require a minor league rehab assignment before being activated. It's been frustrating for Bryant and his fantasy managers, as he's hit .306/.376/.475 in 160 at-bats in his first year with the Rockies, but he just hasn't been able to stay on the field.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
