Kris Bryant, C.J. Cron Absent From Lineup
1 year agoColorado Rockies outfielder Kris Bryant (finger) and C.J. Cron (back) are both out of the starting lineup on Sunday against the Miami Marlins. Bryant will sit out after leaving Saturday's contest early after being hit by a pitch on his finger, although X-rays came back negative. Cron will miss his second straight game due to back stiffness. Fantasy managers should consider both players day-to-day for now. With both Bryant and Cron sidelined, Nolan Jones will start in right field and bat sixth, while Michael Toglia will get the start at first base and hit seventh against Marlins left-hander Jesus Luzardo. Fantasy managers will want to check back on Monday to see if either Bryant or Cron will be available for the start of a series against the Washington Nationals.
