Khalil Shakir 2024 Fantasy Football Outlook: WR4/Flex Upside – Back-End WR5 Price
7 months agoAfter a non-existent rookie season, Buffalo Bills wide receiver Khalil Shakir came on in the back half of 2023 and actually had some helpful production for the Bills (and fantasy managers), albeit inconsistent. Josh Allen will be looking for a new WR1 with the departures of fantasy corner-stone Stefon Diggs (160 targets) and deep-threat Gabe Davis (81 targets). Shakir has an excellent chance to provide WR4/FLEX value despite the presence of Dalton Kincaid, newly signed free agent Curtis Samuel, and rookie second-round pick Keon Coleman. In 2023, the Buffalo Bills threw the ball fifth-most in the NFL, so the volume could be there for Shakir if he separates himself from the pack early on with a few strong performances. He's certainly worth a flyer at his current price – WR57 in NFFC ADP / WR58 RotoBaller rank – in lineup leagues, and a must-have in best ball formats just in case he turns into Allen's go-to guy.
