Khalil Herbert Unlikely To Be Activated For Thursday Night Football
1 year agoChicago Bears running back Khalil Herbert (ankle) is not expected to play on Thursday night against the Carolina Panthers. Chicago's starting running back has missed the last four games on Injured Reserve with an ankle sprain and will apparently add another to the total. He had logged three straight full practices, according to the injury report, but coaches are opting to give him another week of recovery. Herbert's absence opens the door for veteran D'Onta Foreman, who carried the ball 20 times in Week 9. Carolina has one of the worst rush defenses in football, making Foreman an RB2 against his former team.
