Keiner Delgado Launches Three Long Balls on Wednesday
Keiner Delgado went 4-for-6 at the plate with three home runs during their contest on Wednesday against High-A Asheville. The 21-year-old has continued to hit for power during his first taste of High-A action. Through 37 games this season, Delgado has posted a solid .264/.342/.479 line with an .821 OPS. He has tallied nine doubles, hit seven round-trippers, and has even swiped nine bags. Last summer, Delgado spent most of his time at Low-A, where he posted a .231/.318/.347 slash line with eight home runs across 89 games. Fantasy managers should continue to monitor his production, as it appears the No. 26-ranked prospect in the Pittsburgh system has begun to showcase higher power upside. If he continues to hit well, he should be in the mix to join Double-A in the second half.
