Kay Hansen performed well but was unable to get the decision over the newcomer Cory McKenna. After a two-fight winning streak in Invicta FC, Hansen signed with the UFC and won her debut in June. Hansen did out-strike McKenna, scoring 67 significant strikes (87 total strikes) and landed just two of her five takedown attempts. Hansen's key to winning was going to be winning on the ground, but McKenna did a great job establishing her striking game. At 21 years old, Hansen has plenty of time to continue to grow and should always be considered for your rosters.--Matt Bricker
