Although A.J. Allmendinger earned a dominant win at the Charlotte roval two weeks ago, he's unlikely to be a significant contender in tomorrow's Homestead race. Allmendinger failed to score a top ten finish on a non-drafting track of 1.5 miles or greater this season and he and teammate Justin Haley only qualified 25th and 27th respectively. They probably will not have significant speed in tomorrow's race. The Kaulig Racing team is currently in turmoil as Justin Haley announced that he is leaving. Also, it is unclear whether Allmendinger will still be in the Cup Series next year. Between the team's lack of speed and possible contractual distractions for Allmendinger, a good run for him seems like a longshot.--Sean Wrona - RotoBallerRead More News
