Kareem Hunt 2024 Outlook: Still Unsigned Heading into the Season
7 months agoFree agent RB Kareem Hunt was still satisfactory for fantasy purposes in 2023, averaging 0.74 fantasy points scored per touch in half PPR formats. Still, he had the worst rushing season of his career with 135 carries for 411 yards and a 3.0 average. After a stellar rookie season in 2017, one can only wonder what might have been for Hunt's career had he never been involved in a domestic violence incident in 2018 that saw him released by the Kansas City Chiefs and later suspended by the NFL. Despite showing occasional flashes of greatness in Cleveland, Hunt's career never recovered. He will turn 29 before the season starts and his days as a high-end producer for fantasy are likely gone. However, Hunt is a name to keep an eye on this summer should he land on a team with an injured starter or somewhere he can contribute, but Hunt should be considered a long shot at this stage of his career.
