K.J. Hamler Catches Just Two Passes Sunday
K.J. Hamler did very little in the 22-16 loss to the division-rival Chiefs on Sunday night. The rookie caught only two of his five targets for 16 yards in the contest. Hamler also added two carries for 13 yards in the second loss of the season to Kansas City. The Penn State product was also a non-factor last week, but so was all of Denver's offense with the entire quarterback room inactive due to COVID-19. The 21-year-old is a speed and intriguing receiving threat for Denver out of the slot after being taken in the second round, but he has just one touchdown on the season and 27 receptions on 49 targets for 291 yards in 10 games. With quarterback Drew Lock's accuracy issues and a low target share, Hamler can't be trusted as a starting option in single-year leagues just yet.
