Justin Turner Out With Hamstring Tightness
6 years agoLos Angeles Dodgers third baseman Justin Turner (hamstring) felt some tightness in his hamstring while scoring on Wednesday night, which is why he's out of the lineup on Thursday. Manager Dave Roberts said the team is trying to "get ahead of it," and Turner will be available to pinch hit on Thursday. It sounds as though Turner might be good to return to the lineup on Friday. The veteran third baseman hasn't hit for much power this year (six homers), but he's been heating up of late and is hitting a nice .306/.392/.446 on the year. Get him back in your lineups if he returns on Friday.
