Justin Turner Expected To Be Good For NLDS
5 years agoLos Angeles Dodgers manager Dave Roberts said that third baseman Justin Turner (back) is expected to be ready to go for the National League Division Series against the Nationals, which starts on Thursday. "I feel very confident that he'll be able to perform at his level come Thursday," Roberts said. Turner had another great year with a .290 average, 27 home runs, 80 runs and 67 RBI in 479 at-bats, but he's been out for most of September and only hit .185 (5-for-27) with a homer and two RBI in nine games last month. We wouldn't be surprised if Turner shook off the rust and stepped it up in the postseason, but he's a riskier high-priced DFS play than normal.
