For many years an auto play in major championships, Justin Rose has been anything but consistent as of late. True to recent form, the Englishman logged a T9 at the PGA Championship on the heels of three straight missed cuts, and then proceeded to log a missed cut against a weak field at the Wyndham the following week. The pattern of inconsistency has been the same for Rose in the U.S. Open, as over the last four years he has two missed cuts, a top-10 finish and a T3 in America's national championship.
