Joshua Palmer 2024 Fantasy Football Outlook: Opportunity To Be Herbert's Top Target
7 months agoLos Angeles Chargers wide receiver Joshua Palmer looked like he was coming on as a go-to guy for Justin Herbert in the Chargers' offense before a late-October knee strain robbed him of six weeks of the season. Now, Palmer sits atop the depth chart of the LAC wide receiver corps. With the departure of Keenan Allen, Mike Williams, and Austin Ekeler, so goes 250 of Herbert's targets from last season. Palmer – the clear veteran wide receiver in Los Angeles – will once again have the opportunity to prove himself alongside rookie-year disappointment Quentin Johnston and newly drafted second-round pick Ladd McConkey. Palmer will likely get a ton of reps if he remains healthy and presents as the most trusted option for Herbert in a Chargers offense bereft of weapons. His WR68 ADP – #175 overall – aligns with RotoBaller's WR65 rank. Here, he is essentially forgotten as a great candidate to contribute throughout the season and is absolutely worth best ball and deep-league consideration.
