Milwaukee Brewers catcher Jorge Alfaro was unable to make the big-league club and was reassigned to minor-league camp on Wednesday. Alfaro did a nice job during camp, but he didn't have much of a shot at making the MLB club to begin the season. The Brewers will ride with William Contreras and Eric Haase behind the plate to start the regular season. Alfaro sat out last season and only played 18 games between the Colorado Rockies and Boston Red Sox in 2023. The expectation is that Alfaro will head to Triple-A Nashville as depth in case an injury happens at some point during the season.--Andy Webb
