Jordan Binnington Turns First Start into his First Shutout
6 years agoSt. Louis Blues goaltender Jordan Binnington stopped all 25 shots that he faced on Monday night in his first career start. Binnington had made appearances in three games so far in his career, but a lack of consistent success between the pipes for St. Louis this season opened the door for Binnington. His .828 save percentage coming into Monday was less than inspiring, but with Jake Allen only mustering a .898 save percentage this year Binnington will likely get another chance soon. Binnington is an intriguing streaming option for now but does not need to be rostered yet. Keep an eye on Binnington over his next few starts to see if he can build on his momentum.
