John Means Plays Catch On Tuesday
John Means (shoulder) started playing catch on Tuesday as part of his progression, according to Roch Kubatko of MASN Sports. Means was placed on the 10-day IL back on June 6 with a left shoulder strain. Now that he's started to play catch the next step would be some mound work and bullpen sessions before he can pitch in a rehab game. The Orioles will likely take their time with their ace, though. The 28-year-old is sporting a 2.28 ERA, 0.83 WHIP, and 69:13 K/BB ratio over 71 innings (12 starts) this season.
