Joey Logano Sneaks Up On Field, Finishes Fourth At Sonoma
4 years agoTo the surprise of many, Joey Logano was able to finish fourth at Sonoma on Sunday. The Team Penske driver even led five laps between all the pit stops, restarts, cautions, etc. It was a bit chaotic out there but Logano managed it well starting from 13th. The No. 22 seemed to have solid runs as everyone's tires wore down. Initially, he did have some downforce issues. That was partly why he finished 15th after Stage 1. Adjustments worked for Stage 2 as he nearly won it. In the end, he just could not get by Martin Truex Jr. for third.
