Joe Ross Settles With Nationals
Joe Ross avoided salary arbitration on Thursday by agreeing to a one-year, $1 million deal, according to sources. The younger brother of Tyson Ross, the right-hander made just three starts in 2018 due to injury. However, he'll turn 26 in May and has strikeout upside and should have a spot at the back of Washington's rotation if he can stay healthy. Ross can be a streamer in mixed leagues in 2019.
