Detroit Red Wings goaltender Jimmy Howard will likely take the crease in Wednesday night's contest with the Calgary Flames. The New York native is coming off a shootout loss to the Panthers on New Year's Eve in which he allowed three goals on 27 shots in the contest. Despite playing for a bottom-tier team, Howard has actually been quite impressive this season, posting a 2.72 goals-against average and a .920 save percentage in 25 starts. He might not earn many wins for his fantasy owners but Howard probably deserves to be owned in more than just 46% of Yahoo! leagues. With that said, Howard doesn't look to be a top option for Thursday considering his dangerous opponent in the Flames.--Chase Davis - RotoBaller
