Jets Sign Billy Turner
2 years agoThe New York Jets signed free-agent offensive tackle Billy Turner to an undisclosed deal on Monday. Turner was originally a third-round pick by the Miami Dolphins in 2014 out of North Dakota State. The 31-year-old has played nine seasons in the NFL with three different teams -- the Dolphins, Green Bay Packers and Denver Broncos. He played in eight games (seven starts) for Denver last year. Turner has started in 75 of the 91 games he's appeared in in his nine years in the league, and he's expected to serve as tackle depth on the right side of New York's offensive line in 2023 behind Mekhi Becton.
