Jets QB Picture Cloudy
6 years agoNew York Jets head coach Todd Bowles said the team's quarterback picture remains cloudy after rookie Sam Darnold took a slight step back in the second preseason game against the Redskins on Thursday. Bowles didn't put too much into Darnold's interception, but Teddy Bridgewater also continued to play well. Bowles will make his starting QB decision after the fourth preseason game, and the organization will give Darnold every chance to win the job. With Bridgewater healthy and looking good, it increases the chances that the Jets will try to trade him for a position of need. Josh McCown, the grizzled veteran, did not play Thursday. Darnold is perhaps the most attractive dynasty selection next to the Browns' Baker Mayfield, and it looks like he'll be starting games right off the bat in his rookie season.
