5/5:Milwaukee Brewers first baseman Jesus Aguilar went 1-for-3 with a run and an RBI in the 6-4 loss to the Pittsburgh Pirates. Aguilar has been filling in for an injured Eric Thames since April 25 and so far has looked great. In his last four games, he has batted 5-for-12 for a .417 batting average with a home run and two RBI. Aguilar also hit in the three-hole Friday with Ryan Braun out of the lineup, so it's quite evident that Brewers manager Craig Counsell trusts Aguilar to come through in big situations. For fantasy baseball players in need of a first baseman, there are plenty of worse options than Aguilar right now. However, it should be noted that he will most likely continue to split time at first base with Braun.--Caden Inaba - RotoBaller
