Jerry Jeudy More Confident Heading Into Second Season
4 years agoDenver Broncos wide receiver Jerry Jeudy said he feels more confident heading into Year 2 after catching 52 passes for 856 yards and three touchdowns in his rookie season in 2020. Drops plagued Jeudy at times last season, but he said those issues were from a lack of concentration and that he was "so quick to catch and run to hurry up and make a play instead of catching first, then [running]." The 22-year-old first-rounder could also be a better route-runner in his second season. It sounds like Jeudy is just more comfortable with the offense heading into 2021 and has slowed the game down a bit. While Jeudy's season as a whole was disappointing, he did catch five passes for 140 yards and a touchdown in the Week 17 season finale against the Raiders, a potential sign of more things to come. He may not see quite as many targets with a healthy Courtland Sutton back in the fold, but Jeudy is an intriguing upside pick as a WR4/5 late in drafts.
