The Philadelphia Eagles hosted Penn State safety Jaylen Reed on a top-30 visit on Thursday, according to NFL Network's Ian Rapoport. While the Eagles don't really have any glaring holes at any key positions after coming off a Super Bowl win over the Kansas City Chiefs, they could use a playmaking safety after trading C.J. Gardner-Johnson to the Houston Texans for Kenyon Green this offseason. The 22-year-old was an honorable mention in the Big Ten in 2024 and led the Nittany Lions with 98 total tackles while also recording 2.5 sacks and a career-high three interceptions in all 16 games. In his collegiate career over 50 games, Reed had 181 tackles, five interceptions and 12 pass deflections. Reed is athletic and versatile in a defensive backfield and was often asked to over the opponent's top pass-catchers in college.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBallerRead More News
