Chicago Cubs outfielder Jason Heyward (concussion) resumed baseball work on Wednesday. Heyward suffered a concussion on May 6 against the St. Louis Cardinals after crashing into the outfield wall. This activity suggests that Heyward is feeling better. He should be expected to return to the team early next week as long as his concussion symptoms do not return. Heyward has been ineffective at the plate this season. His .227 average and .315 on-base percentage will need to increase before Heyward should enter fantasy consideration.--Raymond Harrison - RotoBaller
