Jason Adam Records Sixth Save
Jason Adam was called upon to record the final two outs of Sunday's game against the Baltimore Orioles. Starting pitcher Drew Rasmussen nearly threw a perfect game before giving up a double to Jorge Mateo in the ninth inning. Luckily, Adam came in and continued his excellent season by closing the door on the O's. This notched his sixth save of the season in seven chances. Adam holds a 1.19 ERA, 0.63 WHIP and 52/9 K/BB ratio across 45 1/3 innings this season. He doesn't offer much fantasy value because he's not the full-time closer. That being said, he can be ignored in most fantasy formats, but is quietly having a fantastic season.
