6 years agoNew York Yankees starting pitcher James Paxton (knee) has been placed on the 10-day injured list. Paxton left after just three innings during Friday's start due to left knee inflammation. The Yankees will have Paxton undergo an MRI, so a better idea about his timetable will be known later. Righty Jake Barrett has been recalled to take Paxton's spot on the active roster.--Andy Webb - RotoBaller
