Ja'Marr Chase Won't Practice Tuesday, Day-To-Day
12 months agoCincinnati Bengals head coach Zac Taylor said the team is taking it day to day with wide receiver Ja'Marr Chase (shoulder) and he won't practice on Tuesday. "We'll see as the week goes," Taylor said. A report surfaced on Monday night that Chase is likely to miss some time after spraining the AC joint in his right shoulder in Saturday's overtime win over the Minnesota Vikings. The Bengals prefer to take things day-to-day with the 23-year-old Pro Bowl pass-catcher, but fantasy managers should be preparing for their semifinal matchups now as though Chase won't be available to them. If Chase is out in Week 16, Tee Higgins, who had two touchdowns in Week 15, and Tyler Boyd would see more targets against the Pittsburgh Steelers this Saturday. Rookie running back Chase Brown is also likely to continue having a bigger role as a pass-catcher out of the backfield.
