Dallas Stars goaltender Jake Oettinger exited Saturday's 6-3 loss to the Rangers with a lower-body injury and is currently getting evaluated by team doctors. The Stars No. 1, who has been in superb form early in the year, left near the middle of the second frame after giving up two goals on 10 shots. He later appeared back on the bench, but Scott Wedgewood finished the game and the severity of Oettinger's ailment remains a mystery for now. There should be more info available on Monday. Oettinger entered Saturday's action with a 5-1-0 record, and he had just posted his first shutout of the season a couple of days back against Washington. Wedgewood has yet to win a game this season and gave up four goals with a .765 save percentage on Saturday, so the drop off in quality is massive between the two Stars goalies, and it's going to be a very painful blow for the team if Oettinger is ruled out for a longer stretch.--Taavi Pailk - RotoBaller
