Jake Odorizzi To Start On Monday
Houston Astros starting pitcher Jake Odorizzi (leg) is set to make his return to the mound on Monday against the Kansas City Royals. The right-hander has been sidelined since mid-May due to a left leg tendon strain. He was able to make it through a pair of rehab starts without any issues. That being said, the Astros plan on bringing back Odorizzi to the starting rotation for Monday's contest. He posted a 3.13 ERA over 31 2/3 innings in seven starts before landing on the injured list. Odorizzi could be a possible streaming option against the shaky Royals' offense.
