Jake Cronenworth Collects Two Hits Monday
3 years agoSan Diego Padres second baseman Jake Cronenworth picked up a pair of hits in Monday's 6-3 loss to the St. Louis Cardinals. He doubled, scored a run, and struck out once. Cronenworth's having a poor offensive season after two productive campaigns to begin his career. Over 47 games, he's slashing .213/.297/.328 with three home runs, 19 RBI, 25 runs, and no stolen bases. Besides Monday's contest, Cronenworth's showing no signs of heating up, as he's hit .212 across his last 15 contests. In shallower leagues, fantasy managers can feel safe letting go of the 28-year-old.
