Montreal Canadiens goaltender Jake Allen will get the start between the pipes as his team takes on the Vancouver Canucks on Thursday. The 30-year-old will assume starting duties on the second night of a back-to-back between the two teams, looking to get revenge after the Canadiens were defeated 6-5 in a shootout to the Canucks on Wednesday. Getting his second start in a Montreal sweater, Allen was fantastic in his debut - allowing just one goal on 26 shots in a 3-1 win versus the Edmonton Oilers on Monday. Despite the high-scoring game last night, Allen should be considered a solid goaltending option on a busy Thursday slate.--Chase Davis - RotoBaller
