1 year agoMinnesota Vikings undrafted rookie kicker Jack Podlesny is in a kicking competition with incumbent Greg Joseph at training camp. Joseph made all three of his attempts, including a 54-yard field goal, in the preseason opener last week against the Seattle Seahawks. Special teams coordinator Matt Daniels said Podlesny will kick in Saturday's preseason contest against the Tennessee Titans following two joint practices this week. Podlesny made 61 of his 74 attempts at the University of Georgia and he led the nation with 151 points in his senior season in 2022. The 23-year-old has plenty of experience kicking in high-intensity games and could give Joseph a run for his money this summer.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
