Jac Caglianone Goes Deep in Second Straight Triple-A Contest
Jac Caglianone went 1-for-3 with a home run and walks during Friday's contest against Triple-A Salt Lake. This was his second-straight contest going deep. Through his first four games with Triple-A Omaha, the No. 10-ranked prospect in the sport has continued to swing a hot bat, launching two long balls with a .313/.333/.688 slash line. Caglianone opened the season with Double-A Northwest, where he needed just 38 games to prove he was ready for Triple-A. During this stint, Caglianone posted a .322/.394/.553 slash line with eight doubles, nine home runs, two stolen bases, and a 37:19 K:BB. Fantasy managers should view Caglianone as a high-upside stash option going forward, as he is making a strong case to get the call to Kansas City. If he continues to perform this well at Triple-A, he could reach the majors in the coming weeks.
