J.T. Realmuto Sitting Out of Series Opener Against Marlins
J.T. Realmuto will take a seat for Monday's series opener against the division-rival Miami Marlins on the road. Rafael Marchan will catch rookie right-hander Mick Abel and will bat eighth against Marlins right-hander Sandy Alcantara. Realmuto gets a day off after starting in each of the team's last six games. The 34-year-old veteran got off to a slow start this year but is starting to pick things up in June, going 13-for-39 (.333) at the plate with three doubles, five RBI and seven runs scored in 11 games played. Realmuto hasn't homered since May 21 but does have four multi-hit games in his last six contests. Fantasy managers are hoping he can keep this up to close out the first half. Marchan will be a poor DFS sleeper choice near the bottom of the batting order. The 26-year-old has gone 7-for-42 with a homer and five RBI in a backup role in 2025.
