St. Louis Cardinals infield prospect J.J. Wetherholt went 3-for-4 with a double and a home run during their contest against Double-A Arkansas. After going 0-for-14 during his first four games at the Double-A level, Wetherholt has flipped the script, tallying at least one hit in each of his previous six games. During this recent surge, he has tallied multiple hits in all but one game. On Wednesday, Wetherholt launched his first home run at this level and tallied four RBI in a single contest for the first time. The Cardinals drafted Wetherholt with the seventh pick in last year's MLB Draft out of West Virginia. After being drafted, the 22-year-old received a brief taste of Low-A ball and held a .295/.405/.400 slash line across 29 games. He is a name to monitor as he could reach Triple-A later this season.--Andy Smith
