Washington Capitals goaltender Ilya Samsonov recorded his sixth victory of the campaign as he led his team to a 3-1 win over the New York Islanders on Tuesday night. The 24-year-old, who has started five of the Caps' past seven games, turned aside 21 of 22 shots en route to staying unbeaten in regulation in eight appearances this season. After missing more than a month due to suspension and then battling Covid, Samsonov has allowed just eight goals while posting a .924 save percentage in five starts in March. With a 2.54 goals-against average and a .907 SVP in 2020-2021, Samsonov is starting to return value as a potential number-one fantasy goaltender down the stretch.--Chase Davis - RotoBaller
