Mitchell Trubisky Could Be Starter In Week 12
4 years agoChicago Bears quarterback Mitchell Trubisky (shoulder) was not on the active roster in the team's 19-13 loss to the Vikings in Week 10. Trubisky has been nursing a right shoulder injury after running one play against the Saints in Week 8. But current starter Nick Foles exited Monday night's game against the Vikings in the final moments with what appeared to be a significant hip injury. The Bears head into their Bye Week but it is fair to assume that, if healthy, Trubisky could be in line to start the team's Week 12 must-win game against the Packers. This situation will need to be monitored over the next two weeks but Trubisky may be getting another shot at the starting job when the Bears resume play.
