Griffin Canning Tosses Five Scoreless Innings
Griffin Canning continued his strong start to the season during Monday's game against the Washington Nationals. The right-hander earned his fourth win of the season as he tossed five scoreless innings in this one. He gave up four hits, walked three batters, and struck out five batters while throwing 90 pitches on Monday. It wasn't a great performance, but Canning has been a viable fantasy option lately. He has allowed one earned run or less in four of his last five starts. He'll take a 2.61 ERA, 1.06 WHIP, and 31/14 K/BB ratio into his next start against the St. Louis Cardinals.
