3 years agoChicago Bears head coach Matt Nagy said that "there's a really good chance" that running back David Montgomery (knee) is activated from Injured Reserve and plays on Monday night against the Pittsburgh Steelers. The Bears could use him back with Damien Williams (knee) already ruled out for Week 9. Montgomery has been on IR since going down with a knee injury in Week 4. Even if he's active against Pittsburgh, he's likely to have a limited role behind rookie Khalil Herbert, who took over this backfield with Montgomery injured before Williams hurt his knee last week. Montgomery's fantasy managers should be happy to have him back, but they should hold off reinserting him into their fantasy lineups this weekend.
