Giannis Antetokounmpo Won't Play On Thursday
2 years agoMilwaukee Bucks forward Giannis Antetokounmpo (knee) will sit out Thursday's contest against Miami. The former MVP is getting the night off with a sore left knee following a 35-minute appearance against Atlanta on Wednesday. Giannis had only seven points against the Hawks and the performance came just one outing after he managed a measly nine points versus Charlotte, so the Greek Freak has clearly been off his game lately. With Khris Middleton (knee) remaining out, Jrue Holiday looks set for a huge night, while Bobby Portis should massively benefit as well. He is looking at his 10th start of the campaign, and Portis has averaged 16.8 points, 11.8 rebounds and 2.4 assists as a starter this season.
