George Kittle, Jeff Wilson Jr., Robbie Gould Activated
3 years agoThe San Francisco 49ers officially activated tight end George Kittle (calf) and kicker Robbie Gould (groin) from Injured Reserve and activated running back Jeff Wilson Jr. (knee) from the Physically Unable to Perform list on Saturday. In corresponding moves, the team placed defensive end Dee Ford on IR and waived defensive lineman Zach Kerr. Linebacker Tyrell Adams and safety Tony Jefferson II were elevated from the practice squad. Fantasy managers can slide Kittle back into all starting lineups as at least a midrange TE1, but he could also be at risk of having his snaps limited. Gould will return as the primary kicker after Joey Slye had been filling in. Wilson will return to a crowded backfield that rookie Elijah Mitchell has taken over in recent weeks. He's a stash candidate in deeper leagues for RB-needy fantasy managers, but we don't recommend starting him.
